COMFORT DOG MINISTRY
The mission of this K-9 ministry is to share the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ. With our own K-9 Comfort dog, we can increase the impact of our current ministries and places of outreach, as well as reach even more of God’s Kingdom in Las Vegas and beyond.

griefshare
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
Check out www.GriefShare.org. Class and materials are available at no charge.

ALTAR FLOWERS
Each Sunday our sanctuary is graced by an arrangement of flowers placed in the chancel area. Individuals and families sponsor these flowers. In their beauty they join our worship in proclaiming "to the glory of God!" They are often placed in honor or memory of persons, often at a time of the year especially appropriate to honoring them.
The church has a standing arrangement with Desert Rose Florist in Boca Park to prepare our flower arrangements for each Sunday. The cost to sponsor an arrangement is $20.

MeRCY MATS
We have been working on making waterproof sleeping mats for the homeless out of grocery bags. It takes between 500-700 bags to make one mat. We need clean plastic grocery bags and a lot of worker bees to create the plastic yarn called plarn.
There are 3 phases to the ministry:
- Cutting each bag into 4 loops.
- Knotting the loops together to form the plastic yarn
- Crocheting the plarn into a 3’ by 6’ mat with ties and shoulder straps so that it can be rolled up and carried
