SERVE IN CHURCH
There is no training required for any of these teams – training will be provided where necessary. A desire to serve others is all you need!

A/V Tech Team
If you enjoy production or technology, we have lots of ways to serve: audio, video, cameras, slide operator, streaming and more.

GREETER TEAM
Greeters welcome our guests and members with a warm smile, kind word or wave and provided information when needed. They help us make a great first impression on those who come to Faith Community Lutheran Church. We need greeters for our 8am, 9:30am, and 11am service.

USHER TEAM
Ushers play an important role in our worship service by helping pass out the offering baskets and dismiss the rows of people during communion. We need usher volunteers for 8am, 9:30am and 11am service.

acolyte TEAM
This is an opportunity for younger members (around 7- 14 years) to participate in the service by lighting the altar candles during the 8am, 9:30am and 11am service. The acolytes light the candles at the beginning of service and extinguish them at the end of service.

Communion Team
During each weekend worship service, volunteers help distribute, and serve communion elements to the congregation.

Altar Guild
Help prepare the communion elements before and after communion for each weekend worship service.

SCRIPTURE READERS
Scripture readers read the Scripture lesson during Saturday at 5:19pm and on Sunday at the 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:00am worship services. One volunteer per service.

HOSPITALITY TEAM
Hosting the coffee & donuts hours in the cafe after Sunday worship is a way the Hospitality Team draws us together as a family.

Vocal Worship TEam
In addition to the choir, we also use individuals and small groups to lead vocally in worship.

VISITOR TABLE
Be a part of the Welcome Team and help at the Visitor Table by handing out goodie bags to visitors and answering questions about our ministries and/ or helping register people for events and/or helping them download the church center app.
